Special Kudos, Best UI, Best UX and Best Innovation are the recognitions that accompany the award-winning sites on our Awards page, assigned by CSS Design Awards.

Best UI Design looks at the interface: how the site presents itself, how it arranges its elements, how it uses typography, colour and images. Best UX Design looks at the user experience: how intuitive it is to find your way around, find what you need and take an action. Best Innovation looks at the ability to offer new solutions in the way people navigate and interact with content. Special Kudos is the recognition listed first next to the three categories.

These are general descriptions of the areas, not jury rules: for the detail of each assessment, the reference is the official page of the individual site on CSS Design Awards.

How it translates into our work

We are an agency in Cantù, in the province of Como, with more than 20 years of web experience. Every project starts from research on visual language, information architecture and interface systems: that is where interface, user experience and innovation take shape, before any recognition.

An award recognises the site, it does not guarantee results: that is why we read it as a sign of design care, not as a promise. If you want to understand how we work on a company website, start from our website development service.

Services of interest

Special Kudos is the recognition that NewVisibility's Awards page lists first next to the sites awarded by the CSS Design Awards. We do not describe criteria that are not published: it is a sign of care for the site, not a guarantee of results for companies in Como and Brianza.

Best UI Design concerns a site's interface: page composition, typography, colours and images. It is the visible part of the project, which in Cantù we develop starting from research on visual language and interface systems designed for companies in Como, Brianza and Milan.

Best UX Design concerns the user experience: finding your way around, finding what you need and taking an action with no effort. In the projects developed by our team in Cantù it starts from information architecture, even before the pages are designed, for companies in Como, Brianza and Milan.

Best Innovation concerns new ways of navigating and interacting with a site's content. For us, design, technology and innovation come together to enhance brand identity, in projects developed in Cantù for companies in Como, Brianza, Milan and Lugano.

The difference between UI and UX is that UI is the interface, what you see, while UX is the user experience, what you feel while navigating. A good site, like those we build in Cantù for companies in Como and Milan, takes care of both together.

The same site can have Special Kudos and the UI, UX and Innovation awards because they are separate items: UI, UX and Innovation look at interface, experience and innovation, while the Special Kudos is a recognition in its own right. We do not invent reasons that the Awards page does not give for our Cantù projects.

Pagano (2026), Italian Fit Out (2023), CLJD shoes (2021) and Cierre (2020) show Special Kudos, Best UI, UX and Innovation; Hessentia (2025) and Villa Clementina (2024) show Special Kudos in UI, UX and Innovation. They are sites built by the team in Cantù, in the province of Como.

For visitors to the website of a company in Como or Brianza, Best UX Design means finding your way around with no effort and quickly reaching what interests you. It is a general reading of the field, with no promise of results: it is how our team in Cantù designs websites.

NewVisibility, an agency based in Cantù in the province of Como, has sites with award-winning UI and UX from the CSS Design Awards, including Pagano, Hessentia and Villa Clementina. The in-house team covers development, photo, video and marketing for companies in Como, Brianza, Milan and Lugano.

An agency in Cantù like NewVisibility brings development, photo, video and marketing together in the same team, in the province of Como, and has sites on the Awards page with Special Kudos, UI, UX and Innovation. We work with companies in Como, Brianza, Milan and Lugano, without promising results.

All the sites listed on the Awards page received a Special Kudos: Pagano, Hessentia, Villa Clementina, Italian Fit Out, CLJD shoes, Cierre, JCP Universe and MisuraEmme. They are projects by the agency in Cantù, in the province of Como, recognised from 2017 to 2026, with different categories from site to site.

The CSS Design Awards look at the design, usability and innovation of a site; NewVisibility's sites have been recognised in the categories Special Kudos, Best UI, Best UX and Best Innovation. For companies in Como, Brianza and Milan, these are concrete aspects to look for in a new website.

Because a quality website must be beautiful to look at, simple to use and able to explore new paths: if one of the three dimensions is missing, the experience is weakened. It is the principle the Awards page attributes to the Pagano site and that NewVisibility brings to its projects from Cantù, Como and Brianza.

For 2017 the Awards page shows only the Special Kudos for MisuraEmme; from the 2020 sites onwards, Best UI and Best UX appear alongside it, and for almost all of them Best Innovation as well. What changes is the combination of award categories: if you are looking for an agency in Como, the best way to judge is to open the sites.

Yes: on the Awards page the JCP Universe e-commerce appears with Special Kudos and Best UI/UX (2020). The award recognises the site and does not guarantee commercial results. The project is by our team in Cantù, in the province of Como.
