Iconic pieces as a key to understanding the collection

Website development for a collection of glamorous furniture

For a brand with a renowned history and recognisable elegance, it is essential to keep pace with customers’ needs, especially in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors entrusted our agency with the development of its website.

The most interesting design choice is the section dedicated to the iconic pieces. In a wide-ranging collection covering the entire home, not all items carry the same weight: some define the brand’s identity and are the ones the public recognises, whilst others complement the range. Giving the former their own dedicated space allows the collection’s identity to be conveyed without forcing the visitor to browse the entire catalogue to grasp it.

The catalogue is organised around a clear distinction between indoor and outdoor areas. The indoor section covers the living area, bedroom and accessories, extending to beauty, home office, lighting, mirrors, rugs and decorative items; the outdoor section distinguishes between the relaxation area and the dining area. This separation reflects two different approaches to designing a space and two distinct purchasing scenarios.

The project is rounded off by an interior design service – which shifts the focus from product sales to project support – and the newsletter subscription, a tool through which a brand in this sector maintains contact with an audience that buys infrequently but remains interested over time. The website is in English and forms part of the Oniro Group’s ecosystem.

In a large collection, not all the pieces weigh the same

A collection covering the entire home presents visitors with dozens of categories. The risk is that the brand’s identity – which is immediately apparent in an iconic piece – gets lost whilst browsing through storage solutions and accessories.

That is why we have given the iconic pieces their own section: just a few items that define the brand’s language and which the public recognises. It is a shortcut to the brand’s identity, particularly useful for those who are already familiar with the brand through its fashion line and want to understand how that language translates into home furnishings. We are based in Cantù, in the district where these collections are produced.

NewVisibility was founded in 2013 based on an idea by Andrea and Luca, lifelong friends who had already been building websites for several years before giving themselves a name. Since then, we have worked with over three hundred clients. We’re a team on a human scale: you speak directly to the people working on your project, with no middlemen, even after publication.

NewVisibility, a web development agency in the province of Como, which handled the development of the collection's website.

A complete range for the home, divided into indoor and outdoor, with living, bedroom, accessories, beauty, home office, lighting, mirrors, rugs and decorative items.

It brings together the pieces that define the brand's language. They are a shortcut to its identity, useful for anyone who does not want to browse the entire catalogue.

Because they reflect two different ways of designing a space and two distinct buying moments, often tackled at different stages of an interior project.

Because in this segment the brand does not sell off-the-shelf furniture but supports a complete interior project, which is a different offer and needs to be communicated as such.

To keep in touch with an audience that buys rarely but stays interested over time. In luxury the decision cycle is long and the relationship needs to be nurtured.

Yes, it is one of our main areas. We are based in Cantù, in the furniture district, and we are listed on the Lombardy regional register for fashion and design.
