Website development for a designer furniture brand

For Baleri Italia, a high-end furniture brand, our web development agency has designed a website that offers a sophisticated and functional user experience. The elegant and refined layout reflects the brand’s exclusive identity, with smooth navigation and a number of interactive effects that enhance the interface without making it feel cluttered.

The catalogue structure operates on two distinct levels. The first is organised by product type: home accessories, sofas and armchairs, storage units, bookcases, chairs, tables and coffee tables. The second is organised by editions – collections with their own distinct identity, such as ‘From the ’80s’, the ‘Tato Collection’ and ‘Cardboard (R)evolution’. This dual approach caters both to those seeking a specific item and to those browsing by design affinity.

Above the catalogue, the website features four separate sections. The professionals’ area is aimed at designers and architects, with dedicated access. The projects section documents completed works. The journal brings together editorial content on design. And the sales network allows users to locate stockists, a crucial feature for a brand distributed through selected retailers.

A separate section is dedicated to sustainable freedom, which on the website is not merely a statement of intent but a structured section: design approach, product approach, construction methods and the company’s circularity plan. The website is bilingual (Italian and English), serves images in WebP format with multiple resolution options and is fully responsive.

In terms of design, the website must measure up to the product

When the client is a design brand, the website is judged with the same critical eye as an object: visitors immediately recognise a slapdash solution. For Baleri Italia, this meant paying as much attention to interactive effects and the fluidity of navigation as to the structure itself, because in this sector, form is part of the content.

However, structure comes first. The dual navigation by product type and collections, the area reserved for professionals, and the section on sustainability—including the circularity plan—stem from the way the brand sells and positions itself, not from a list of standard sections. We’re based in Cantù, in the furniture district, and when it comes to design brands, we know this distinction well.

NewVisibility was founded in 2013 based on an idea by Andrea and Luca, lifelong friends who had already been building websites for more than 20 years before establishing the company. Since then, we have worked with over three hundred clients. We are a team on a human scale: you speak directly to the people working on your project, with no middlemen, even after publication.

NewVisibility, a web development agency in the province of Como, designed the structure and interface of the bilingual website, taking care of the catalogue, the professionals' area and the sales network.

Because someone looking for a chair and someone looking for a collection browse in different ways. Product types serve targeted searches; editions serve those who move by design affinity.

To give architects and designers content and tools the end customer is not looking for, keeping the two paths separate without forcing anyone through the other's information.

Because a brand distributed through selected retailers needs to lead the user from the website to the shop. Without that step, the interest generated online is lost.

With a structured section rather than a statement: design approach, product approach, construction methods and circularity plan. Being specific is what makes the subject credible.

To produce long-lasting content that supports organic ranking, building a cultural context around the brand that the catalogue alone cannot provide.

Yes, it is one of our main areas. We are based in Cantù, in the furniture district, and we are listed on the Lombardy regional register of incubators and accelerators for fashion and design.
