Our part, from developing the privacy notice to publication.
One privacy policy for two regulations?
A privacy policy for the GDPR and the nLPD/nFADP can be set up as a single document, but whether it is sufficient for your website is decided by your legal advisor. The two texts share many principles, which is why a single, well-structured privacy notice is often a good starting point for companies in Como, Brianza and Ticino; some details may, however, call for dedicated sections. For your specific case, check with your legal advisor or DPO: we work together with them on the technical side of the website.

From the website to the privacy policy

- Updates over time
We are not a law firm and this page is for information only. See an example in the NewVisibility privacy policy.

A Lugano company can entrust NewVisibility with the technical side of the nLPD/nFADP because from Cantù, close to the border, we handle website, hosting, notices and cookies in a single project, with international CSSDA awards for some of our sites. We work together with your legal advisor or DPO.
The nLPD/nFADP, in force since 1 September 2023, strengthens transparency, accountability and protection of individuals compared with the old FADP. For a company website in Ticino, Como or Milan it means looking at forms, cookies and tools. This is informational content: for your case, contact your legal advisor or DPO.
The differences between the nLPD/nFADP and the GDPR concern territorial scope, terminology and some practical details, but the underlying principles are similar. For a company in Como, Brianza or Lugano with users on both sides of the border, the website takes both into account. Your legal advisor assesses the details.
In the web project, the legal advisor and DPO assess the legal aspects of data processing, while the agency implements notices, consents and configurations on the site. NewVisibility works this way from Cantù with companies in Como, Milan and Lugano, as a technical partner and not a law firm.
On a multilingual website the privacy notice is, in general terms, made available in the languages in which the site is offered, so that users can understand it. For companies in Como and Ticino the actual choice is up to the legal advisor or DPO; we handle the technical side of the language versions.
