Website for an interior design and contracting company
Italian Fit Out is a leader in interior planning and design worldwide, thanks to architects and designers who guide clients towards the best solutions, with constant support from the design phase through to the completion of the project.
For a company like this, the website has a different job from a manufacturer's. There is no catalogue to show, because every commission is unique: what is being sold is the ability to deliver complex projects, in different countries, to high standards. The only convincing proof of that ability is the projects already completed.
That is why the portfolio sits at the centre of the site, with a page for each project and explicit references to the location, from villas in the hills of the Emirates to residences in the Principality of Monaco. Geography is not a decorative detail: it tells the client that the company is used to working beyond its own borders, with the logistical and regulatory complexity that comes with it.
Around the portfolio, the site sets out expertise and departments, explaining how the company is organised to handle those projects, and three credential pages: philosophy, certifications and awards received. The project is completed by a news section, documenting appearances and publications in the trade press, and an accessibility statement. The site is bilingual, in Italian and English.
When there is no catalogue, the portfolio is everything
An interior design general contractor has no products to put in a catalogue: every commission is different from the last. This radically changes what the website has to do, because the only proof of the ability to deliver a complex project is the projects already delivered.
With Italian Fit Out we therefore put the portfolio at the centre, with a page for each project and the location always stated. For an international client, knowing that the company has already worked in the Emirates or the Principality of Monaco is worth more than any description of expertise, because it shows familiarity with logistics and regulations abroad.
NewVisibility was founded in 2013 by Andrea and Luca, lifelong friends who had already been building websites for several years before giving themselves a name. Since then we have worked with more than three hundred clients. We are a human-sized team: you talk directly to the people working on your project, with no intermediaries, even after launch.

NewVisibility, a web development agency in the province of Como, which designed the structure around the portfolio and developed the bilingual website.
Design, interior design and fit-out contracting at international level, with architects and designers who follow the client from design through to completion.
Because there is no catalogue: every commission is unique. Completed projects are the only convincing proof of the ability to deliver new ones.
Because it tells the client that the company is used to working beyond its own borders, with the logistical and regulatory complexity a site abroad involves.
To explain how the company is organised internally to handle complex projects. For structured clients, organisational capability is part of the assessment.
Because in an international market awards are a verifiable credential for those who do not know the company and must assess it without direct references.
Yes, it is a sector close to the furniture district we work in, where we know that sales depend on portfolio, certifications and organisational capability.
