Ebike Lab E-commerce website development for E-Bike Lab
E-commerce website development for E-Bike Lab WebE-commerce development for selling electric bikes
Ebike Lab sells and services electric bikes in Como, stocking the leading brands in the sector. For this client our agency developed an e-commerce platform on Magento, which is now one of the largest projects we look after: the website has several hundred pages of products, categories and content.
The complexity does not come only from the number of products. An e-bike is a significant purchase, often costing thousands of euros, and hardly anyone buys one on impulse: customers compare models, motors and battery range, check the promotions and in many cases want to see the bike before deciding. The e-commerce site therefore has to support a long journey, not close a quick transaction.
That is why the website brings together three dimensions that often remain separate. Online sales, with an extensive catalogue, advanced search, a customer area and structured management of seasonal promotions, which in this sector are a constant driver of traffic. The network of physical shops, because a visit in person remains decisive for test rides and collection. And the workshop, meaning after-sales servicing, which for an electric vehicle is a recurring service that builds loyalty.
The system was built to handle a constantly evolving catalogue, with brands, models and specifications that change every season, and to manage discounts and campaigns without technical intervention. It is the difference between an e-commerce site that is simply published and one that is managed every day.
A large e-commerce site is not handed over, it is managed
Ebike Lab is one of the largest projects we look after, and it shows clearly what we mean when we say a website is never simply handed over. An e-bike catalogue changes every season: new models arrive, motors and specifications change, promotional campaigns with significant discounts are launched. A system not built for this would become unmanageable within a few months.
The second focus is the purchase journey. An e-bike costs as much as a small investment and is bought after comparisons, often after a test ride in the shop. That is why the website brings together online sales, the network of shops and the workshop, instead of treating e-commerce as a channel separate from the physical shop.
NewVisibility was founded in 2013 from an idea by Andrea and Luca, lifelong friends who had already been building websites for several years before giving themselves a name. Since then we have worked with more than three hundred clients. We are a team on a human scale: you speak directly with the people working on your project, with no intermediaries, even after launch.

NewVisibility, a web development agency in the province of Como, which developed the platform on Magento and looks after the structure of the catalogue and promotions.
It sells and services electric bikes in Como, stocking the leading brands in the sector and offering a workshop service for bike maintenance.
Because the catalogue is large and changes every season, with different brands, models and specifications. Magento handles this complexity and promotional campaigns natively.
Yes, but it is a considered purchase. The website supports the comparison between models and leaves open the option of trying the bike in the shop before buying.
Because for a significant purchase, a test in person remains decisive. Keeping the two channels separate means losing those who search online but want to see the bike before deciding.
To give visibility to after-sales servicing, which for an electric vehicle is a recurring service and one of the main reasons a customer comes back.
Through the back office, without technical intervention. On a seasonal e-commerce site, being able to launch and close campaigns independently is an operational requirement.
