Website development for a corporate advisory firm
Athena Associati is a Milan-based firm of chartered accountants and statutory auditors that puts the expertise and experience built up over the years at its clients' service. Its positioning, however, goes well beyond ordinary tax advice: the firm works on extraordinary transactions, business crisis management and compliance, areas in which clients judge an advisor by what it has actually completed.
This is the premise that shaped the structure. We gave a standalone page to each of the six practice areas: valuations and transactions, risks and controls, litigation, accounting and business plans, crisis management, governance and control bodies. These are skills aimed at different audiences, and in a single list they would have cancelled each other out.
The most distinctive element of the site, though, is the transactions portfolio, alongside the news section documenting completed mandates and new professionals joining the network. In this sector it is the most convincing proof: an advisory role in an acquisition says more than any statement of expertise. Alongside it sit the professionals page and the page on the sectors covered.
Like every site we build, Athena Associati's is responsive: at a time when mobile visits outnumber desktop ones, this is what ensures the site actually gets consulted. The project is bilingual, Italian and English, consistent with transactions involving foreign investors, includes a careers section and publishes an accessibility statement.
For an advisory firm, transactions count, not titles
On a professional firm's website the recurring temptation is to list titles and specialisations. With Athena Associati we worked in the opposite direction, giving structural weight to the transactions portfolio and the news on mandates: in a field like extraordinary transactions and restructuring, an advisory role in an acquisition is the strongest reference there is.
The second decision was to separate the six practice areas instead of squeezing them into a single services page. Someone seeking support in a business crisis and someone seeking a company valuation are different clients, with different urgencies: each deserves a page that speaks their language and can rank for its own searches.
NewVisibility was founded in 2013 from an idea by Andrea and Luca, lifelong friends who had already been building websites for several years before giving themselves a name. Since then we have worked with over three hundred clients. We are a team on a human scale: you talk directly with the people working on your project, with no intermediaries, even after launch.

NewVisibility, a web development agency in the province of Como, which handled the design, the structure of the practice areas, responsive development and the bilingual version of the site.
It is a Milan-based firm of chartered accountants and statutory auditors working on valuations and transactions, risks and controls, litigation, business plans, crisis management and governance.
Because they address different audiences. Someone facing a business crisis and someone commissioning a valuation have distinct urgencies: a single list neutralises both areas of expertise.
To demonstrate rather than declare. In advisory, a completed mandate is the most convincing reference, far more than a list of titles or years of experience.
Because it keeps the site alive and builds credibility: every announced transaction is fresh content that documents ongoing activity and improves organic ranking.
When transactions involve foreign investors or groups, yes. The English version lets international counterparties and advisors assess the firm in their own language.
A document describing how usable the site is for people with disabilities. It is an increasingly important regulatory requirement and still uncommon among professional firms.
