Three different audiences within the same club

Website for a sports club

For Circolo Tennis Cantù, our web agency built a clear, clean website that is easy to navigate and works on every screen thanks to its responsive design.

A sports club has one feature the website had to handle: it speaks to very different people at the same time. There is the parent looking for somewhere for their child to start, the competitive player assessing the training on offer, the member who wants to know when the next tournament is played, and those who need to consult the club's official documents.

The structure responds by separating these paths. The school is organised into three levels, mini tennis, basic school and competitive, each with its own page: they cover different age groups and goals, and a parent needs to understand straight away where their child fits. Tournaments have a dedicated section with the competitions hosted by the club.

The institutional side deserves a mention. A club is also an association, with a board of directors, a statute and a code of ethics that members are entitled to consult. Giving these documents their own pages is not a formality but a sign of transparency towards the membership, and it makes the secretary's office's work easier. The website is completed by news on events and results and a section dedicated to sponsors, which for a club are a significant item in the budget.

Three natures the website has to keep separate

A club is a school, a club and an association all at once

A sports club is three things at once: a school looking for pupils, a club organising tournaments for its members and an association with transparency obligations towards its membership. These are three natures with audiences that do not overlap.

The parent looking to enrol their child and the member who wants to read the statute have nothing in common, and a website that mixes them serves both badly. That is why the school is organised into three levels and the club's documents have their own pages: it is not bureaucracy, it is respect for those who already belong to the club. We are based in Cantù and have always worked with organisations in our area.

NewVisibility was founded in 2013 by Andrea and Luca, lifelong friends who were already building websites long before giving the agency a name, with more than 20 years of experience. Since then we have worked with more than three hundred clients. We are a team on a human scale: you talk directly to the people working on your project, with no intermediaries, even after launch.

NewVisibility, a web agency in Como and Cantù, which built the tennis club's responsive website.

Into three levels with dedicated pages: mini tennis for the youngest, basic school and competitive activity, corresponding to different age groups and goals.

Because a parent needs to understand straight away where their child fits. Different ages and goals call for different explanations and language.

Because a club is also an association and members are entitled to consult its official documents. It is a sign of transparency and lightens the secretary's office's workload.

To give visibility to the competitions hosted by the club, which involve members, outside players and spectators, and mark the rhythm of the sporting year.

Because for a sports club sponsorships are a significant item in the budget, and giving visibility to supporters is part of the agreement.

Yes, we work with a number of organisations in the Cantù and Como area, designing structures that keep the paths for pupils, members and the general public separate.
