Website development for a pharmaceutical company
The importance of a digital presence is now well established, even for pharmaceutical companies. This is why Lisa Pharma, which specialises in the manufacture of sterile and injectable medicines, turned to our agency to create a new website, intended both as a showcase and as a tool.
In this sector, the website has a specific target audience, and it is not the patient. It is pharmaceutical companies, industrial partners and regulatory authorities who assess a manufacturing organisation on the basis of its facilities, quality certifications and technical capabilities. The structure reflects this priority: the ‘Technology’ section is the most comprehensive on the site and covers quality, facilities, patents and contract manufacturing.
This last point deserves attention, as it indicates a business model: the company does not merely manufacture for its own brand but makes its production capacity available to third parties. It is an offering aimed at a specific audience, and dedicating a separate page to it ensures it can be found by those seeking it.
The website also includes a page dedicated to pharmacovigilance – a standard requirement in the sector that must be immediately accessible – a sustainability section, and corporate pages on the company’s history, philosophy, team and global presence. The project is rounded off by the product catalogue, a news section and an accessibility statement. The website is bilingual in Italian and English.
In the pharmaceutical sector, the website does not address patients
The first question regarding a pharmaceutical project concerns the audience. In Lisa Pharma’s case, it is not patients but partner companies, industrial clients and regulatory authorities who assess facilities, quality standards and technical capabilities before anything else.
This turns the hierarchy on its head compared to a consumer-facing website: the technology section becomes the most comprehensive, covering quality, facilities, patents and contract manufacturing, whilst the corporate narrative remains a supporting element. It is also why pharmacovigilance has a page that is immediately accessible: in this sector, certain content is not optional.
NewVisibility was founded in 2013 based on an idea by Andrea and Luca, lifelong friends who had already been building websites for several years before giving themselves a name. Since then, we have worked with over three hundred clients. We are a team on a human scale: you speak directly to those working on the project, with no middlemen, even after publication.

Sterile and injectable medicines, also making its production capacity available to third parties through its contract manufacturing service.
Not for patients but for partner companies, industrial clients and regulatory authorities, who assess the manufacturer's facilities, certifications and technical capability.
Manufacturing on behalf of third parties: the company produces medicines for other brands, making its own facilities, expertise and certifications available.
Because in pharmaceuticals production capacity is the main evaluation criterion. Anyone looking for a partner wants to know which lines and standards they will be working with.
A space for reporting adverse events related to medicines. It is a sector requirement that must be immediately reachable from the website.
Yes. These projects need particular attention to the structure of technical content and to compliance requirements, with internal validation by the client.
