Two shops, each with its own page

Website development for two jewellery shops

Eurobijoux runs two jewellery shops located in shopping centres, in Paderno Dugnano and in Lecco. The website built by our agency had to solve an issue that affects every business with more than one location: how to give both visibility without one overshadowing the other.

The answer was to give each shop its own page, with the practical information for that specific location. This matters because the two jewellery shops serve different, distant catchment areas, and people searching online almost always pair the type of shop with their own area: one page per location lets each shop rank in its own territory.

In the catalogue, the most interesting choice concerns the watches, divided into new and pre-owned. This separation reflects two markets with opposite logics: someone buying a new watch assesses the model and the warranty, while someone looking at pre-owned pieces is after deals and availability that change over time. Keeping them together would have penalised both.

To complete the offer, the website gives space to the services, from jewellery and watches to, above all, buy-back and part exchange, which for a jewellery shop is an important acquisition tool because it reaches people who want to sell or swap a piece. There is also a news and promotions section for in-store initiatives, links to the social media channels and an accessibility statement.

Local search rewards businesses that can be found by area

With several shops, each location needs its own page

A business with two shops far apart has a specific problem: people searching online almost always associate the shop with their own area. A website that lists its locations in a single contact list stays invisible to half of those searches.

With Eurobijoux we therefore gave each jewellery shop its own page, so that both can rank in their own catchment area. We applied the same logic of separation to the watches, distinguishing new from pre-owned: two markets with completely different customers, expectations and pricing dynamics.

NewVisibility was founded in 2013 by Andrea and Luca, lifelong friends who had already been building websites for several years before giving themselves a name. Since then we have worked with more than three hundred clients. We are a team on a human scale: you speak directly to the people working on your project, with no middlemen, even after the site goes live.

NewVisibility, a web development agency in the province of Como, which designed the shop-based structure and developed the website for the two jewellery shops.

In two shopping centres, in Paderno Dugnano and in Lecco. Each shop has a dedicated page on the website with its own practical information.

Because people looking for a jewellery shop pair their search with their own area. One page per location lets each shop rank in its own local catchment area.

Because they are two markets with opposite logics: new watches are judged on model and warranty, pre-owned ones on value and availability, which changes constantly.

The option to sell or swap a piece you own. For a jewellery shop it is also an acquisition tool, because it brings in people who were not looking to buy.

Very important in the discovery phase, because the product is visual and spreads through images. The link between website and social profiles should be planned from the design stage.

Yes, we work with several retail businesses in Lombardy, designing structures that make the most of their physical presence and of local search.
