Website development for a window and door manufacturer
Corbetta Serramenti is a leading brand in the province of Como and beyond, a manufacturer and supplier of high-quality wood, PVC and aluminium windows and doors, with a history dating back to 1885. The client asked us for a website that would showcase its products and the craftsmanship of its production.
The development team created a responsive website with clean, simple lines, leaving room only for what matters: the window or door. In a sector where customers assess materials, finishes and proportions, every graphic element that competes with the product photo works against the sale.
The catalogue is organised into three families corresponding to three distinct needs. Windows, divided between wood, wood and aluminium and the line of a specialist partner. Doors and entrance doors, divided between interior doors, security doors and front doors. Shading and security, with shutters, roller shutter boxes, roller shutters and sunshades, insect screens and security solutions. Someone replacing a window and someone looking for a security door have almost nothing in common, and deserve separate paths.
Two elements complete the project. The projects section documents completed work with real cases, from classic windows for a winery in Piedmont to wood and aluminium windows with sunshades in Como: in a sector where the product is made to measure, completed work is the most convincing proof. And the call to visit the showrooms, because a window is chosen by touching it, and the website’s job is to bring people into the shop.
Sometimes the best work is the work you don’t see
Corbetta asked us for a website that would showcase its products and the craftsmanship of its production. The answer was not to add effects but to remove them: clean, simple lines, so that attention goes to the window and its finishes. In a company with a history dating back to 1885, restraint communicates better than any decorative element.
The other choice concerns the website’s goal. Windows are not bought online: they are assessed by touching the wood and trying the opening. The website therefore serves to qualify the company, show real work and bring people to the showroom. Designing with in mind where the sale really happens changes the priorities of every page.
NewVisibility was founded in 2013 from an idea by Andrea and Luca, lifelong friends who had already been building websites for several years before giving themselves a name. Since then we have worked with more than three hundred clients. We are a team on a human scale: you speak directly with the people working on your project, with no intermediaries, even after launch.

NewVisibility, a web development agency in the province of Como, which designed the catalogue structure and developed the responsive website with clean lines.
Windows and frames in wood, wood and aluminium and PVC, as well as interior doors, security doors, front doors, shutters, roller shutters, sunshades, insect screens and security solutions.
Because customers assess materials, finishes and proportions. Every graphic element that competes with the photo of the window takes attention away from what drives the choice.
Because someone replacing a window, someone looking for a security door and someone wanting insect screens have different needs and budgets: separate paths serve each one better.
To show what the company can do to measure. In a sector where every job is different, work already carried out is more convincing than any product description.
No, and it should not be. A window is chosen by touching it: the website’s job is to qualify the company, show real work and bring people to visit the showroom.
Yes, it is an area we work in continuously in the Como and Brianza area, designing clear catalogues and sections dedicated to completed work.
