Website development for a psychotherapy practice
The website our Como web agency built for Dr Boz focuses mainly on written content. It is a deliberate and uncommon choice: in a sector where most websites rely on reassuring images and generic phrases, here the text is the project.
The reason lies in how people search. Someone looking into a psychotherapy practice almost always starts from a specific question and wants to understand, in a few clicks, whether that area is treated and with what approach. A website built on atmosphere does not answer that question; a website built on content does.
So we gave each area of practice its own page, so that every area has a space where it can be explained with the correct terminology. Alongside the areas are the professional profile and a page dedicated to the approach used, which is often the decisive information when choosing a therapist and which too many websites leave implicit.
The doctor can also add content to the news section independently, keeping the website constantly up to date. On a professional website it is the only part that is renewed over time: it supports organic ranking and shows an active practice. The layout is responsive and adapts automatically to smartphones, tablets and desktops.
When content is the project, design steps aside
For Dr Boz's practice we took the opposite direction to the sector's usual one: no layout built on atmosphere, but a website where the text is the backbone and the design supports it without interfering. Someone looking for information about psychotherapy has a specific question and deserves a readable answer, not a visual experience.
It is the practical application of one of the three values that guide us alongside creativity and quality: simplicity, because the most effective communication is the one everyone understands effortlessly. The self-managed news section follows the same logic, letting the professional update the website whenever she wants without depending on us.
NewVisibility was founded in 2013 from an idea by Andrea and Luca, lifelong friends who had already been building websites for several years before giving themselves a name. Since then we have worked with over three hundred clients. We are a team on a human scale: you speak directly to the people working on your project, with no middlemen, even after launch.
Read our manifesto
NewVisibility, a web agency in Como and Cantù, which handled the design, content structure, responsive development and the independently updatable news section.
Because people looking for a psychotherapy practice start from a specific question and want to understand in a few clicks whether that area is treated. A website built on atmosphere does not answer.
Because each area needs its own space and terminology. Separate pages help visitors recognise their own situation and allow the website to rank for specific searches.
Yes. The news section can be managed independently: new content is published without going through the agency, keeping the website up to date and active in the eyes of search engines.
To make explicit what often remains implicit. The therapeutic approach is frequently the decisive information when choosing, and leaving it unstated forces people to ask.
Yes, the layout is responsive and adapts automatically to the screen size, whether smartphone, tablet or desktop, keeping the text readable.
Yes, we work with several practices and professionals in the Cantù, Como and Milan area, designing websites that are understated, clear and easy to update independently.
