Video of the Hotel Miramare in Rapallo: hotel, restaurant and bistro
Alongside the photo shoot, during our stay at the Miramare in Rapallo, we filmed a video showcasing the beauty of the venue and the services offered to guests.
We documented a typical day at the hotel, from arrival and overnight stay right through to dinner overlooking the sea. The full video lasts approximately 3 minutes.
Alongside the full feature are three videos dedicated to individual services: the hotel, the restaurant and the bistro, which are useful for the respective pages on the website.
The main video is in 16:9 widescreen format (1920x1080) and lasts 1 minute and 41 seconds. Three additional videos focusing on specific parts of the project were also produced. The videos are designed for the website and social media channels.
A video about an accommodation venue gives a taste of the experience before the stay: the surroundings, facilities and setting, shown through imagery that photographs alone cannot convey.
Video production: who works on your content and what tools do they use?
NewVisibility’s video production service begins with a site visit and the creation of a shot list, followed by filming and, finally, editing and post-production. The same team handles the entire process: Andrea as creative director, and Marco and Edis on camera and editing. In videos for accommodation providers, natural light, the time of day and the angle of view are key: we carry out a site visit, choose which facilities to feature and, where necessary, also film from above using drones.
We film using LED lights ranging from 300 to 1,200 watts, sliders, dollies and Ronin gimbals: the lighting is adapted to the environment, sliders and dollies add movement to the camera, whilst the gimbal keeps handheld shots steady. We also use drones for location and corporate videos. We own the equipment, so we organise the timing and set-up ourselves.
